Guests can make use of the house's conservatory and sun porch - the perfect place in which to relax with a favourite book.
There is a collection of leaflets and other information on the local area available in the conservatory.
Each of the three bedrooms is beautifully furnished, well appointed and spacious, with a modern TV, alarm clock radio, hairdryer and tea or coffee making facilities.
Each room has either en-suite facilities or a private bathroom [adjacent].
The 'Rose' Bedroom has a king size double bed, a sitting area with comfy chairs and spacious bathroom facilities (corner shower, bath, bidet, toilet and wash basin).
The second bedroom has a double bed and countryside views from the window.
The 'Gold' Room has twin beds that can be linked together to make a 'Super king-size' double bed.
Food and Drink
The dining room is quiet and intimate. Here, the real farmhouse Galloway breakfast is served each morning.
From the village of Auchencairn [approximately 15/20 minutes walk away] to the nearby towns, there are many fine restaurants and hotels serving evening meals.
The Smugglers Inn in the village is now closed. Bar food is available in the next village (Palnackie). Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie and Kirkcudbright all have several hotels and restaurants.
Bluehill Farm is 8 miles south west of Dalbeatie, and is situated 9 miles from the market town of Castle Douglas - an excellent location from which to explore 'Bonnie Galloway'.
Kirkcudbright, a picturesque coastal town with artistic heritage, is 12 miles away.
Bluehill Farm is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, where there are many fine walks to enjoy.
There are also excellent opportunities for other leisure activities, which include golfing, sea and loch fishing, boating and sailing and cycling.
Alternatively, visit one of the sandy beaches, or take it easy and enjoy the magnificent scenic surroundings.
Galloway has a rich upland landscape which culminates in Glen Trool, along with a uniquely attractive coastline.
Bluehill B&B is the ideal base for touring, with many fine villages, beaches and picturesque harbours to visit.

Finding us - Follow satnav as far as Auchencairn, if coming from Kirkcudbright, take your first left in front of the school and follow the road for 3/4 of a mile. We are the first farm on the left. If coming from Dalbeattie/Castle Douglas, go through the village and up the hill, turn right after the school and head straight on for 3/4 of a mile.
